Planting a SEED for Women's Wellness
Steaz's commitment to women's wellness stems from a belief instilled in me by my mother that the strength, resilience and care that women possess are at the heart of building a healthier world. As a company, we aim to support, connect and inspire women to dream, achieve and create change within areas that impact their families, their communities and ultimately, the planet.
It is with this sense of purpose that I am thrilled to announce here first the launch of our very own philanthropic endeavor: the Steaz SEED Initiative (Social, Environmental, and Educational Discovery).

The Steaz SEED Initiative is an integrated program that engages Steaz customers, retailers and industry partners by providing a platform for women to discuss and address issues that matter most to them. Each year, Steaz will recognize inspirational individuals and non-profits that are building a healthier world in areas related to the Mind, Body, Soul and Planet through theHealthy SEEDs Award program.
The Healthy SEEDs Award consists of a financial grant, product donation and mentorship in areas such as marketing, finance and legal. We are very excited to announce that our first Awardees will be recognized next week at Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, CA.
Steaz has established a Women's Wellness Committee comprised of leaders representing various disciplines, such as motherhood, entrepreneurship, philanthropy, culinary arts, the organic movement and women's development, to provide guidance and insights, and oversee the Awards program.
The Steaz SEED Initiative will be presented for the first time at the third annual International Women's Festival being held in Santa Barbara, California, this Friday and Saturday, March 5-6. Members of the Steaz community are welcome to attend this event free of charge! Just check the Events page at steaz.com in the next day or two for details and registration info. For more information about the Festival, visit womensfestivals.org.
The Festival celebrates International Women's Day (March 8) and provides a supportive environment for networking and resource sharing. Speakers will address crucial issues facing women today in interactive, multi-cultural and entertaining presentations focusing on the five key areas of women's lives: Personal, Professional, Philanthropic, Political, and Planet.
I encourage you all to attend and to support us in this exciting endeavor. Throughout the coming weeks and months, I look forward to sharing more information with you here about the Steaz SEED Initiative!
Cheers,
Eric
