Meet Luke Moretti
At Steaz we focus on health, wellness and (as you know) all things good for the mind, body and soul. Today, we have a story to share about Luke Moretti, a Vanderbilt University sophomore who is doing just that - except on a level most of us can't comprehend. Luke suffered a tragic spinal cord injury last spring and is fighting to regain his mobility. Our co-founder's son Jordan has written the below post. Please help us share Luke's story:

Over the past 5 months our good friend and frat brother Luke has battled countless infections and works every day to regain his good health, strength, and ability to walk. During this time he has demonstrated true courage and bravery. Luke has fought day in and day out to do things that seem like second nature to us. Despite his hard work and positive mindset, Luke could not come back to school for this fall semester but plans to do so in the spring. The main obstacle preventing Luke's return to Vanderbilt is a rehabilitation machine instrumental to his recovery.
The entire Vanderbilt Greek Community, is pledging to raise $90,000 to purchase a LocoMotor Training machine for the greater Nashville area. This will help Luke return to school and will also be available for other patients with similar mobility disabilities.
To raise funds Vanderbilt is putting together a benefit concert on campus this Friday October 19. The Lights on the Lawn Concert will feature popular DJs dBerrie and White Panda, as well as up and coming artist Millie Badison. All proceeds will go towards the purchase of a LocoMotor Training machine.
Steaz is the official beverage sponsor of this event - since Luke loves Steaz so much. So all of you Steazers in the Nashville area, come support a great cause and have a blast at the same time! Tickets can be purchased here. Friday at Vanderbilt will be a night to remember - let's get Steazy!
If you can't make it, there will be another benefit concert in Westchester, NY on October 24, tickets can be purchased here, and any donation at all to Luke's cause is tremendously appreciated - even if it is simply spreading the word.
Thank you.
